Well 49er fans, low and behold, we are in the playoff picture.  How exciting is this?  A team that was predicted to have a top 5 draft pick has a decent chance of making the playoffs.  As of now the 49ers stand with a 6-8 record, with the next two games as must wins, if we want to have any chance at the playoffs. 

Week 16: vs. Arizona

Week 17: @ Denver

The 49ers, as long as they don’t choke, will beat Arizona at home.  The tough game will be going to Denver and winning.  Denver is in the playoff pitcure as well in the AFC, and this weekend they play the Cinncy Bengals at home.  If Denver beats the Bengals, they may have clinched a playoff berth, meaning against the 49ers, they can sit some regulars, giving the 49ers a good chance of winning the game.  So this weekend, don’t only root for the 49ers, but root for the Broncos. 

Obviously root for the Chargers too, because they are playing the Seahawks.  The Seahawks are 8-6, if they end the year 8-8, as do the 49ers, the 9ers will take the division crown with the tie breaker. 

Other games to watch for:

Redskins (5-9) vs Rams (6-8)

New Orleans (9-5) vs NY Giants (7-7)

Carolina (6-8) vs Atlanta (7-7)

Minnesota (6-8) vs Green Bay (6-8)
